My First Thanksgiving

November 24, 2011

I celebrated my first Thanksgiving at Uncle Don's house.  I didn't get to eat any of the big people food this year, but it looked really good.  I can't wait to eat it next year!

Here I am after eating my dinner:

After dinner we went for a walk around the neighborhood.  It was a little cold, so Mommy put me in warmer clothes.  When we got back, Aunt B and I layed around relaxing together.

A couple of nights later (on the 26th), I wore my Thanksgiving pjs.

My feet say Little Turkey.

Family Dinner

November 13, 2011

On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a family dinner.  It was so much fun to hang out with my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.  It was tiring playing with everyone, so I had to take a nap with Haley.

My First Play Date!

November 8, 2011

After my doctor's appointment on November 8, mommy and I went to Woodfield to meet Kellan, Mason and their mommies.  First we saw Kellan's Aunt Amy.  Then all the kids napped while the mommies had lunch.  Then, Mason and Kellan had lunch while I played with mommy.  Before we went home, mommy took pictures of all of us kids.  We are all about 3 months old.  Mason was born July 28.  I was born August 6 and Kellan was born August 20.

I was lucky enough to be the only girl with two cute boys!

I was getting tired of all the pictures at the end, so I layed on Mason.

3 months old!

November 8, 2011

Mommy forgot to take my 3 month pictures on my 3 month birthday (she really feels badly), so she took them 2 days later after my 3 month check up.
Here I am at the doctor's office that morning:

I weigh 10 lbs 9 oz and am 23 inches tall now.

Here I am with my purple monkey:

My First Halloween

October 31, 2011 was my first Halloween.
Earlier, I got this box from Aunt Arlene (Nana's neighbor):

Isn't the box top cute?!
Inside was a 'My First Halloween' bib.  I was so excited to wear it on Halloween.

Mommy and I went to Nana's for Halloween.

I didn't dress up in a costume because I wasn't going outside.  I did have a cute outfit on though.

I was in the middle of a growth spurt, so I just relaxed and did some playing and a lot of sleeping this year.
It was fun to see all the big kids dressed up.  I'm already thinking about what to be next year when I get to go trick or treating!

It fits!

On October 23, 2011, Daddy put me in a Bears onesie I had never worn before.  The exciting thing about this one is that Mommy wrapped it up and gave it to Daddy when she told him she was pregnant with me.  Because I was born early and so small, I couldn't wear it until now.

My First Smile! (Kind of)

October 22, 2011
I've been smiling a lot at everyone, but I hadn't been doing it in front of the camera.  Finally, Daddy got a picture of me smiling on camera.

Mommy was so happy Daddy got this on camera.  She'd been trying to get a picture of me smiling for weeks!

The Pumpkin Patch

Today Daddy left work a little bit early so we could all go to the pumpkin patch together.  We went to Goebbert's.  It's really big!

Here I am in my stroller ready to look around.

Having a little fun:

Sitting in the pumpkins:

I don't like the sun in my eyes!

And here I am sitting with Mommy is a really big rocking chair.

I had a lot of fun at Goebbert's.  We also saw people riding horses and camels and feeding giraffes.  I'm looking forward to going back when I'm bigger and can play more.

Halloween a Little Early

On October 12, Mommy put me in my First Halloween onesie.  I'm getting so big that I won't fit in it on Halloween.

Two Month Check-Up

On Monday, October 10, Mommy took me to see Dr. Bass for my two month check-up.
Here I am waiting in the waiting room.

I'm looking forward to playing with those trains when I'm bigger.

On the table waiting for Dr. Bass to come in.
I'm now 9 pounds 1/2 ounce and 21 3/4 inches long.  Mommy can't believe how much I've grown in two months!

Two Months

Today I'm two months old!  Mommy said she can't believe how fast it's gone.

I'm getting bigger.  I can tell because some of my newborn size pjs are getting too small.  On Monday, Mommy will take me back to the doctor to see just how big I am now.

Here is my two month picture with the purple monkey.  I'm bigger than he is now!

Just relaxing!

Apple Fest

On Sunday, October 2, I went with Mommy, Nana Donna, Aunt Denise, Aunt Jackie and Aunt Julie to Apple Fest in Long Grove.

There were so many people there!  I think we will have to go back on a different day.

There are apple donuts and an apple pie in that bag.  Every told me they were delicious.  Maybe I'll try them next year.

My Baptism

Saturday, October 1 was an exciting day for me; I had my baptism at St. Matthew's Church.  The church is really close to our house.  Fr. Chuck, who is Daddy's uncle, baptized me.  The water was pretty cold, but I was a good girl the whole service and didn't cry at all.  I even slept through most of the pictures afterwards.

Here is a picture of Fr. Chuck baptizing me:

My godparents are Aunt Julie and Jonathon.  Here I am with them:

Here's my cake:

With my godparents and my cake.

After the RAM we went home to relax.
Getting baptized is tiring.

So is being a godmother, I guess.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing the pictures from my special day.  Thank you to everyone who came.  Also, thank you to my cousin Julie for taking all the pictures and for Uncle Dave for videoing the ceremony and lunch.
